telepark: The Week of Feb 8 to 12
Dear reader, in a nutshell...
Following the devastating earthquake of January 12 in Haiti, we set up a Facebook page for the Sainte Rose de Lima girls school in Port-au-Prince. We are extremely happy to report that in less than 3 weeks, more than 1,200 people have become fans and supporters on Facebook.
In the past we used to develop "presentation software" (not as good as Dali's Metamatix, but still). You know, the type which is cool when your customers have the budget but first to be axed when the going gets rough. In my age, we stop experimenting, so here are my 4 fool-proof criteria to launch a successful SaaS (Software as a Service) business instead.
The new version fixes the "loading" bug, sets the stage for (future) automatic Wiki updates and adds a new settings tab for "Apps". Download telepark.wiki here.
Click here to view our new video on YouTube: "Get your own Wiki Website for collaboration project management, document management and todo lists up and running in less than 5 minutes. For free."
Create your own Wiki Apps and sell them in our App Store online. Check out our new Developer Manual and Hello World example. Tutorials and more to come. Meanwhile, send me your feedback and comments (hint: you can easily repackage Flash apps and games as Wiki Apps, too). But first, download telepark.wiki for free.
We started a new project codenamed "ALV" for the music industry. We thank our great consortium of partners and look forward to a launch in July 2010. Stay tuned.
SoCa stands for "Surprise-our-Customer afternoon" and is a weekly do-as-we-please time to innovate from 2pm to 5pm each Wednesday. No interruptions, no phone calls taken (except in emergencies). Last Wednesday we experimented with Facebook Connect for our Website, a new version of FCK (now called CKEditor) to make wiki/cms work with Safari and Chrome browsers and a new Wiki App for Form mailing.
