How to buy and install teamslide

 

1. Download and Save


Click on the download link and save the teamslide application package, which has been zip-compressed into a single file, to your computer. Once the download is completed, open this .zip file and extract all files and folders to a directory on your local hard drive. Open the "installation-guide.pdf" document which only contains a single-page of instructions.

2. Upload files to your webspace


Upload the directory /ts/ (see picture above) including all subdirectories and contained files to a directory, for example named "/teamslide/", on your webspace or personal webserver.



To upload files to your webspace or webserver you need an FTP client software as well as FTP account information (username / password). Check with your hosting provider in case you are unsure about how to use FTP.

3. Launch and Personalize teamslide


Open your web browser and enter the following URL or internet address:

http://www.my-domain.com/teamslide/

Replace "my-domain.com" with the domain name of your webspace and replace "/teamslide/" with the directory name you uploaded teamslide to using your FTP client software, e.g. "/ts/" or "/ts_std/" or "/ts_pro/".

Upon your initial launch of teamslide, you will be greeted by a personalization form which looks as follows:



Enter your name, the name of your institution or company, your role (e.g. "Presenter") and your preferred language for the teamslide user interface (see the drop-down list at the bottom of the form). You can upload a picture or your company logo (size is 48 x 48 pixels) to personalize your copy of teamslide.

Click on the "Save" button and teamslide is ready to upload your first presentation slideset.
